적극행정 우수공무원은 적극적인 업무수행으로 군민이 체감할 수 있는 성과를 창출한 공무원으로 군은 적극적인 행정문화 확산을 위해 매년 상, 하반기 적극행정 우수공무원을 선발하고 있다.

또한 적극행정 문화조성에 대한 군민들의 관심과 참여를 유도하기 위해 적극행정 우수공무원 선발과정에 ‘온라인 군민투표’를 도입해 큰 호응을 얻고 있다.
