[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 고성군은 3월부터 보건소 전담형 모델 장기요양 재택의료센터를 운영하고 있으며, 현재 신청자 수는 19명, 등록자 수는 9명으로 지역사회 기반 재택의료 서비스가 안정적으로 제공되고 있다. 

고성군은 2025년 12월 공모에 선정된 뒤 2026년 1월 다학제팀 구성을 완료하고 관련 교육 이수를 마쳤으며, 기존 운영 지역에 대한 벤치마킹도 실시하는 등 사업 추진을 위한 사전 준비를 체계적으로 진행했다.

본 사업은 장기요양 재가 수급자 가운데 거동이 불편해 의료기관 방문이 어려운 군민을 대상으로 하며, 1~2등급자를 우선 지원한다. 

지역사회 계속 거주(Aging in Place)를 돕기 위한 사업으로, 재택의료센터 다학제팀인 한의사·간호사·사회복지사가 케어플랜을 수립해 맞춤형 서비스를 제공한다. 

한의사는 월 1회 이상 방문진료를 통해 진료와 질환 관리를 맡고, 간호사는 월 2회 이상 방문간호를 통해 간호처치, 질병 증상 변화 확인, 복약·영양관리, 질환 예방 및 생활습관 개선을 위한 교육·상담 등을 제공한다. 

사회복지사는 주기적인 상담을 통해 요양돌봄 수요를 발굴하고 필요한 서비스를 연계한다.

서비스 비용은 기본 방문간호 횟수인 월 2회까지는 본인부담금이 발생하지 않으며, 이를 초과할 경우 월 3회 한도 내에서 추가간호료 5만3,770원의 15%를 부담하게 된다. 

이을희 보건소장은 “재택의료센터를 기반으로 지역 내 의료돌봄 체계를 강화해 군민들이 일상 속에서 안정적으로 서비스를 이용할 수 있도록 노력하겠다”고 말했다.

Doctors of Korean medicine are responsible for medical treatment and disease management through visiting consultations at least once a month, while nurses provide nursing care, monitor changes in disease symptoms, manage medication and nutrition, and offer education and counseling for disease prevention and lifestyle improvement through visiting nursing at least twice a month.

Social workers identify the demand for long-term care through periodic counseling and connect patients with necessary services.

Regarding service costs, there is no co-payment for the basic frequency of visiting nursing up to two times a month. If this limit is exceeded, patients are required to pay 15% of the additional nursing fee of 53,770 won, up to a limit of three visits per month.
