해양 생태계 보전을 위한 '제4회 세종 국제 청소년 포럼’이 성료됐다.
지난 15일부터 18일까지 세종,서천 일원에서 열린 이번 포럼에는 대만, 독일, 미국 등 총 13개국을 대표하는 해외 학생 22명과 세종시 지역 중·고등학생 53명이 참가했다.
포럼은 ‘실천적 해결책 모색’을 주요 주제로 교육과정 체험, 개막식, 급식 체험, 기조 강연, 폐막식 등 다양한 프로그램으로 진행됐다.
행사 첫날인 15일 오전에는 관내 중·고등학교*를 방문해 교육 과정, 급식 등을 체험했다.
이어, 15일 오후에는 이번 포럼의 주요 주제인 해양 생태계 보전에 관한 토론을 위한 발제 강연들을 들었다.

마지막 날인 18일에는 지난 3일간 포럼 프로그램에서 도출된 결과물을 함께 공유하고, 환경보전을 위한 공동선언문을 작성 및 발표하며 포럼을 마무리했다.
