신한울 1호기, 터빈 자동정지

【브레이크뉴스 울진】이우근 기자=한국수력원자력(주) 한울원자력본부(본부장 이세용)는 8월 1일 오전 7시 7분경 신한울1호기(140만kW급) 터빈이 자동 정지됐다고 밝혔다.

신한울1호기는 현재 원자로 출력 40% 수준에서 안정적으로 유지 중이며, 터빈은 보호신호 중 하나인 제어봉제어계통의 저전압 오신호 발생에 의해 정지된 것으로 파악됐다.

한울본부는 “이는 안전계통과 무관한 설비고장이며, 해당 설비 정비 후 발전을 재개할 예정”이라고 밝혔다.

Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Co., Ltd. Hanul Nuclear Power Headquarters (Director Lee Se-yong) announced that the turbine of Shinhanul Unit 1 (1.4 million kW class) automatically shut down at around 7:07 am on August 1.

Shinhanul Unit 1 is currently maintaining a stable reactor output of 40%, and it was determined that the turbine was shut down due to a low voltage error signal in the control rod control system, one of the protection signals.

Hanul Headquarters stated, “This is a facility failure unrelated to the safety system, and power generation will resume after the facility is repaired.”
