윤석열 대통령이 신임 산업정책비서관에 최우석 산업통상자원부 무역투자실장(53)을 임명했다.
5일 대통령실에 따르면 최 신임 비서관은 이날부터 용산 대통령실에서 근무 중인 가운데 산업통상자원부 1차관으로 영전한 박성택 전 비서관 후임이다.
최 신임 비서관은 1971년생으로 연세대 경영학과 졸업 후 미국 하버드케네디스쿨에서 행정학 석사 학위를 받았다.
행정고시 40회로 공직에 입문해 그간 산업통상자원부 창의산업정책과장·전력산업과장·신재생에너지정책단장·소재융합산업정책관·산업정책관 등을 거쳤다.
지난 박근혜 정부 때 청와대 행정관, 윤석열 정부 출범 직전 대통령직 인수위원회에서 근무한 바 있고 과거 주형환 장관 재임 당시 장관비서관으로 근무했다.
