현대차는 이달부터 2025년 8월까지 1년 동안 전기차를 출고하는 국내 고객에게 세계적인 호텔 그룹 ‘힐튼(Hilton)’ 계열의 글로벌 타임쉐어 리조트 운영 기업 ‘힐튼 그랜드 베케이션스(Hilton Grand Vacations, HGV)’와의 파트너십을 통해 하와이 호텔 숙박권을 제공하기로 했다고 8일 밝혔다.
현대차와 HGV는 지난달 초 글로벌 고객 대상 전기차 경험 확대를 위해 전략적 파트너십 구축 업무협약(MOU)을 맺은 바 있다.
이번 파트너십의 일환으로 현대차는 아이오닉 5, 아이오닉 5 N, 아이오닉 6, 코나 일렉트릭 등 전기차 출고 후 HGV 멤버십 관련 프레젠테이션을 들은 국내 고객 전원에게 힐튼 계열의 하와이 호텔 3박 4일 숙박권을 제공할 예정이다.
숙박권이 제공되는 호텔은 △힐튼 가든 인 와이키키 비치(Hilton Garden Inn Waikiki Beach) △더블 트리 바이 힐튼 알라나 와이키키 비치(Double Tree by Hilton Alana Waikiki Beach) △힐튼 와이키키 비치 (Hilton Waikiki Beach) △더 모던 호놀룰루 힐튼 베케이션스 클럽(The Modern Honolulu Hilton Vacations Club) △오션 타워 힐튼 그랜드 베케이션스 클럽(Ocean Tower Hilton Grand Vacations Club) 중 한 곳이다.
현대차와 HGV는 지난달 29일부터 HGV 멤버십 가입자 및 하와이 HGV 리조트 이용 고객들을 대상으로 하와이 현지에서 현대차 전기차를 경험할 수 있는 ‘현대 모빌리티 패스포트 인 코나(Hyundai Mobility Passport in Kona)’ 프로그램을 진행하고 있다.
현대차와 HGV는 하와이에서 처음 진행되는 이번 프로그램을 시작으로 전기차 수요 및 반응을 고려해 대상 지역과 프로모션 확대를 지속 추진할 예정이다.
현대차 관계자는 “HGV와의 프로모션을 통해 전기차 구매 고객에게 매력적인 혜택을 제공해 내수 전기차 시장 활성화를 기대한다”며 “앞으로도 더 많은 글로벌 잠재 고객에게 일상 속 전기차 경험을 선사하고자 지속 노력할 계획이다”고 말했다.
