브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= KCC글라스는 임직원과 자립준비청년이 함께한 ‘사랑의 반찬 만들기’ 봉사활동을 진행했다고 12일 밝혔다.
지난 8일 서울시 서초구에 위치한 방배아트유스센터에서 KCC글라스 임직원 및 자립준비청년 30여명이 참여한 가운데 진행된 이번 봉사활동은 자립준비청년들의 안정적인 사회 진출을 지원하는 사회공헌 사업인 ‘Dream홈씨씨’의 일환이다.
음식과 예술을 접목한 심리 치유 활동인 ‘푸드아트테라피(Food Art Therapy)’를 통해 참여 청년들에게 건강한 식습관 형성을 위한 반찬 조리법을 전수하고 지역사회와의 나눔을 실천하고자 기획됐다.
참여자들은 푸드아트테라피 전문 강사와 함께 토마토오이김치, 메추리알장조림 등 균형 잡힌 영양의 반찬을 직접 만들어 서초구에 거주하는 자립준비청년과 저소득층 1인 가구에 전달했다.
KCC글라스 관계자는 “이번 봉사활동이 자립준비청년들이 건강한 식습관을 갖고 나눔의 기쁨을 알아가는 데 조금이나마 도움이 됐으면 한다”며 “앞으로도 KCC글라스는 Dream홈씨씨 사업을 통해 복지 사각지대에 놓인 자립준비청년들을 위한 다양한 지원을 이어가겠다”고 말했다.
한편, KCC글라스는 지난 3월 서초구, 방배아트유스센터, 반포종합사회복지관과 함께 Dream홈씨씨 사업 추진을 위한 업무협약(MOU)을 체결하고 서초구에 거주하는 자립준비청년들의 안정적인 사회 진출을 지원하는 다양한 프로그램을 운영하고 있다. 올해 하반기에도 Dream홈씨씨 사업을 통해 취업용 프로필 사진 촬영, 모의 면접, 쇼핑몰 창업 교육 등 자립준비청년들의 취업과 창업을 돕기 위한 프로그램을 진행할 예정이다.
