브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= 삼성전자가 21일부터 25일(현지시간)까지 독일 쾰른에서 열리는 ‘게임스컴 2024(Gamescom 2024)’에 참가해 게이밍 모니터 신제품을 공개했다.
게임스컴은 약 1400개 하드웨어·소프트웨어·게임 콘텐츠 제작사가 참여하는 세계 최대 규모 게임전시회다. 삼성전자는 800㎡(약 242평)의 역대 최대 규모 전시장을 마련하고, 오디세이 3D·32형 오디세이 OLED G8·27형 오디세이 G6 등 최고 사양의 게이밍 모니터 신모델을 대거 선보인다.
삼성전자는 3D 전용 안경 없이도 3차원 경험을 제공하는 게이밍 모니터 ‘오디세이 3D(Odyssey 3D)’를 선보인다.
이번에 공개하는 ‘오디세이 3D’는 패널 전면에 부착된 렌티큘러(Lenticular) 렌즈를 통해 2D 영상을 실감나는 3D 화면으로 전환해주는 기능을 지원한다.
오디세이 3D'는 시선 추적(Eye Tracking) 및 화면 맵핑(View Mapping) 기술을 탑재해 사용자에 최적화된 3D 경험을 제공한다.
