[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해시는 21일 국제 우호도시인 중국 래서시의 짜오토 부시장을 비롯한 7명의 대표단이 김해시를 방문했다고 밝혔다.

지난 1997년 김해시와 우호도시 협약을 체결한 래서시는 인구 72만의 도시로 중국 산둥반도의 교통 요충지이자 116개 해외기업 투자 공장이 위치한 대외 개방 도시로 중국 내 100대 경제 도시로 선정될 만큼 기업하기 좋은 도시이다.

또 김해 화포천습지 생태공원과 같은 습지생태공원이 있으며 2015년에 이어 2019년 세계 레저 스포츠 대회를 성공적으로 개최해 올해 전국체육대회 개최지인 김해와 산업, 물류, 스포츠, 관광 등 다방면에서 많은 공통점을 가지고 있다.

래서시 대표단은 중국 청도 현지에 진출한 자동차 솔레노이드 밸브 국내시장 1위이자 세계시장 점유율 3위인 김해 소재 ㈜유니크 공장을 방문해 자동차 부품 생산라인 신설 투자 면담을 진행했다.

홍태용 시장은 래서시 대표단을 접견하는 자리에서 “기업 교류와 상호 투자뿐만 아니라 산업, 물류, 스포츠, 관광 등 두 도시의 공통 분모를 활용해 교류협력을 강화해 나가자”며 “대성동고분군 유네스코 세계유산 등재 1주년을 기념해 10월에 개최되는 가야문화축제에도 참석해 주시기를 바란다”며 초청장을 직접 전달했다.
