울진군, 자립준비청년 지원사업 추진

울진군은 지난 21일 한전KPS 한울1사업처(처장 민종식), 초록우산어린이재단 경북지역본부(본부장 박정숙)와 울진군 내 자립준비청년 지원사업 추진을 위한 업무협약을 체결했다고 밝혔다.

이번 협약은 울진군 내 자립준비청년 및 보호대상아동들의 성공적인 자립을 지원하기 위해 추진되었으며, 협약을 통해 울진군 자립지원청년 등 10명에게 자립도전장학금, 취역역량강화, 취업 지원 멘토링 등 지원이 진행된다.

이번 협약을 통해 한전KPS 한울1사업처에서 11백만원의 사업예산 및 멘토링 활동을 지원하며, 지원금은 초록우산어린이재단 경북지역본부를 통해 지원 대상자들에게 전달될 예정이다.

협약식에 이어 진행된 멘토링 활동에는 자립준비청년 3명이 참석하여 공기업 취업 노하우, 자기소개서 쓰기, 장기적 멘토-멘티 매칭 등 현장감 있는 상담으로 각자의 인생 설계에 많은 도움을 받았다.

손병복 울진군수는“지역사회를 통해 지속적인 사회공헌활동을 해 주시는 한전KPS 한울1사업처에 감사드리며, 지원을 협력해 주시는 초록우산어린이재단에도 감사를 드린다”라며, “이번 협약을 통해 지원되는 사업이 우리 지역 자립지원청년들의 성공적 자립에 큰 도움이 될 것으로 기대하며 울진군도 자립지원청년들이 사회의 한 구성원으로 성장해 나갈 수 있도록 지원하는 일에 최선을 다하겠다”라고 전했다.

Uljin-gun, promoting self-reliance-preparing youth support project

Uljin-gun (Governor Son Byeong-bok) joined hands with KEPCO KPS and Green Umbrella to successfully achieve self-reliance for youth preparing for self-reliance and children under protection in the county.

Uljin-gun announced on the 21st that it signed a business agreement with KEPCO KPS Hanul 1 Business Office (Director Min Jong-sik) and Green Umbrella Children's Foundation Gyeongbuk Regional Headquarters (Director Park Jeong-sook) to promote self-reliance-preparing youth support project in Uljin-gun.

This agreement was promoted to support the successful self-reliance of youth preparing for self-reliance and children under protection in Uljin-gun, and through the agreement, 10 Uljin-gun self-reliance support youth will receive support such as self-reliance challenge scholarships, job capacity enhancement, and job support mentoring.

Through this agreement, KEPCO KPS Hanul 1 Business Office will support a business budget of 11 million won and mentoring activities, and the support money will be delivered to the beneficiaries through the Gyeongbuk Regional Headquarters of the Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation.

Following the agreement ceremony, three young people preparing for independence attended the mentoring activity and received a lot of help in planning their lives through realistic consultations on public enterprise employment know-how, self-introduction writing, and long-term mentor-mentee matching.
