브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= 효성중공업이 전력설비 디지털 솔루션 개발을 위해 산학 협력에 나선다.
효성중공업은 지난 21일 부산대학교와 ‘빅데이터 분석 및 AI 알고리즘을 활용한 전력설비 자산관리 및 예방 진단 사업 고도화를 위한 산학협력 협약’을 체결했다고 22일 밝혔다.
부산대학교 대학본부에서 열린 이날 협약식에는 권기영 효성중공업 전무, 강정은 부산대학교 산학협력단장 등이 참석했다.
이번 협약에 따라 효성중공업이 보유한 빅데이터와 AI 기술을 활용한 자산관리 및 예방 진단 분야에 부산대학교의 데이터분석/모의실험 역량 기술을 더해 사업 고도화가 추진된다.
이번 산학 공동연구로 전력설비의 디지털 진단/분석 솔루션에 대한 신뢰도는 높아지고 핵심 코어(Core)기술의 지속적인 협력체계가 가능해질 전망이다. 또한, 국내외 예방진단 및 자산관리 솔루션 사업의 활성화와 우수 인재 양성의 우수 사례가 될 것으로 기대된다.
권기영 효성중공업 전무는 “국내 최초의 사업모델을 구축한 효성중공업의 전력설비 진단/분석 솔루션인 아모르(ARMOUR)는 AI 기술의 고도화를 통해 DX분야까지 지속적으로 확장할 수 있는 산학 협력 생태계를 구축할 것이다”고 말했다.
한편, 국내 전력산업을 선도하고 있는 효성중공업은 2016년 국내 최초로 154kV 급 자산관리시스템 알고리즘을 개발하여 지속적으로 국내외 사업을 확장하고 있다.
