이번 캠페인은 온라인 마권 발매의 안정적인 정착과 건전한 야간경마 운영을 위해 기획됐다. 불법경마의 폐해를 알리고 경각심을 고취해 건전한 경마문화를 조성하고자 하는 취지다.
서울·부경·제주 3개 경마공원 및 한국마사회 홈페이지, SNS 등 온·오프라인 동시에 진행되는 이번 캠페인은 경마고객뿐만 아니라 국민 누구나 참여할 수 있다.
특히, 서울경마공원에서는 럭키빌 1층에는 매주 금·토요일에 홍보부스가 운영될 예정이다. ‘건전경마 문화 만들기’ 캠페인과 ‘1일 사이버 모니터링단’에 참여한 이들에게는 부채 등 소정의 기념품이 증정되며, 추첨을 통해 음료 기프티콘도 제공될 예정이다.
한국마사회 송대영 경마본부장은 “온라인 마권 발매와 야간 경마가 순조롭게 이뤄지고 안정적인 레저로서의 건전한 경마문화가 정착될 수 있도록 불법경마의 근절을 위해 다각적이고 지속적으로 노력하겠다”고 전했다.
