브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= LG유플러스가 유튜브 프리미엄과 넷플릭스 2종을 월 1만원대로 제공하는 ‘더블 스트리밍 연간권’을 출시했다. 유튜브 프리미엄과 넷플릭스를 결합해 이용료를 할인해주는 상품은 국내 최초다.
LG유플러스의 구독 서비스 ‘유독’을 통해 가입할 수 있는 ‘더블 스트리밍 연간권’은 월 1만4900원의 유튜브 프리미엄과 월 5500원 상당의 넷플릭스(광고형 스탠다드)를 결합해 1년간 약 22% 할인된 월 1만5900원에 제공한다. 1년 약정형 상품으로, 가입한 달부터 12개월 간 할인된 가격으로 동영상 스트리밍 서비스를 이용할 수 있다.
LG유플러스 고객이라면 추가 할인도 받을 수 있다. LG유플러스 멤버십 VIP 등급 이상 고객은 멤버십 혜택으로 유독 4000원 할인을 추가해 정상가 대비 약 42% 할인된 월 1만1900원에 더블 스트리밍 연간권을 이용할 수 있다.
유독 홈페이지에서 가입할 수 있는 ‘더블 스트리밍 연간권’은 사용 중인 통신사와 관계없이 누구나 이용할 수 있다. 더블 스트리밍 연간권이 1년을 약정한 연간권 상품인 만큼, 약정 기간인 12개월을 다 채우지 않고 중간 해지 시 할인 반환금이 발생한다. 할인반환금은 매월 할인금액(4500원)에 가입 개월 수를 곱해 책정된다.
LG유플러스는 구독 플랫폼인 ‘유독’을 통해 차별화된 고객 가치를 제공하기 위해 다양한 구독 상품을 추가로 선보이고, 자체 개발한 AI인 ‘익시’를 활용해 고객에게 맞춤 상품을 추천해주는 기능을 도입하는 등 서비스 고도화를 추진할 방침이다.
