[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 홍태용 김해시장이 23일 창원켄벤션센터에서 열린 (사)한국마이스관광학회 춘계학술대회에서 ‘2024 마이스(MICE) 진흥대상’을 수상했다.

국내외 마이스 학계, 업계, 공공기관, 관광 분야 전문가 200여명이 참석한 가운데 열린 2024 한국마이스관광학회 춘계학술대회는, 국내 마이스 분야에서 최고 권위의 학회 중 하나인 한국마이스관광학회(회장 여호근)에서 개최하는 학술대회이다. 마이스 진흥대상은 마이스산업 육성을 위해 가장 활발한 활동을 펼친 인물과 기관에게 수여하는 상으로 올해는 김해시장과 경남관광재단이 공동으로 이름을 올렸다.
