브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= 한국마사회는 오는 5일 전북말산업복합센터에서 ‘제2회 2024년 말산업 취업박람회’를 개최한다고 2일 밝혔다.
농림축산식품부와 한국마사회가 공동으로 주최하는 이번 취업 박람회는 말산업 채용정보를 찾기 어려운 구직자에게는 양질의 일자리 탐색 기회를, 숙련된 인력을 찾기 어려운 말산업체에는 인재확보의 기회를 제공하기 위해 마련됐다.
박람회에는 대전 복용승마장, 익산시 공공승마장 등 전국 승마시설과 승마장 종합 플랫폼 업체인 주식회사 럭스포 등 신규인력 채용계획을 가진 16개의 사업체가 참여한다. 확보된 일자리도 승마코치부터 말관리사, 영업직, 촬영전문, 환경관리 등 40여개에 이른다.
말산업 취업박람회는 규모는 크지 않지만 사전 매칭제를 원칙으로 한다는 데에 특장점이 있다. 마사회가 박람회 개최 전에 채용예정 기업과 일자리를 사전공개하고, 구직자로부터 면접희망 우선순위를 접수받아 현장면접을 매칭하는 중개인 역할을 한다.
작년 소규모 시범사업으로 진행된 박람회에서 참여자의 27%가 일자리를 찾는 등 취업률이 높게 나타난 이유도 바로 체계화된 매칭 시스템 때문인 것으로 보인다.
말산업 취업을 희망하는 구직자는 기승실력과 말 관리능력 등 말산업 역량테스트에 응시한 후, 사전 매칭된 면접일정에 따라 사업체별 채용부스를 오가며 면접을 진행하게 된다.
사전 신청을 하지 못한 경우라도 당일 오전 현장접수를 통해 면접에 참가할 수 있으며 취업궁금증 해소와 진로탐색 지원을 위한 상담부스도 운영된다.
