수원특례시의회, 추진실적 보고회

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=수원 이현준기자] 수원특례시의회 복지안전위원회가 2024년도 주요업무 추진실적에 대한 보고 회의를 열었다.

지난 2일 안전교통국, 도시안전통합센터 소관부서에 대하여 청취했다.

이희승 위원장은 “곧 버스 파업이 시작될 것으로 예상되는데, 수원시에서는 양측 간 중재역할을 잘 수행하여 수원시민들이 대중교통을 이용하는데 불편을 최소화할 수 있도록 해달라”고 말했다. 이어 “수원 동남권에서 아주대학교로 가는 버스 노선이 적어 민원이 발생하고 있다”며 “버스회사와 협의하여 버스 노선 변경 등을 통해 아주대학교로 가는 노선을 증편하는 방법을 강구해달라”고 전했다.

김은경 의원은 “안전사각지대 CCTV 인프라 확충을 위해 노력해주셔서 감사하다”며 “다만, CCTV 설치 시 일괄적 기준보다는 지역 특성과 환경을 반영하여 설치해주길 바란다”고 당부했다.

김동은 의원은 “동탄인덕원선 복선전철 건설사업은 수원시민들이 오랫동안 기다려왔던 사업”이라며 “교통 흐름에 지장이 없도록 하면서 빠른 완공 추진으로 주민들이 편리하게 전철을 이용할 수 있게 해달라”고 당부했다.

사정희 의원은 “경기남부광역철도사업의 경우 수원시민들의 숙원사업”이라며 “사업이 성공적으로 추진될 수 있도록 수원시가 할 수 있는 부분을 적극적으로 지원해주길 바란다”고 요청했다.

한편 복지안전위원회는 9월 3일까지 소관부서의 2024년 주요업무 추진실적 보고 청취를 마친 뒤, 9월 4일 조례안 등 안건을 심사할 예정이다.
