김포시, 환경오염행위 특별감시

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=김포 이현준기자] 김포시가 추석 연휴 환경오염 예방을 위한 특별점검을 실시한다.

오는 9일부터 24까지 ‘환경오염방지를 위한 특별점검기간’으로 정했다.

연휴기간 환경오염을 사전에 예방하고, 환경오염물질 배출시설 운영 사업장을 대상으로 특별감시 및 지도점검에 나선다.

이에 추석 연휴 전 위반행위가 있었던 중점관리사업장을 대상으로 사전에 협조문을 발송하여 자율점검을 유도하고 하수·분뇨처리시설, 폐수처리시설, 폐기물처리시설 등 환경기초시설에 대해서도 소관부서장이 직접 현지 사전점검을 실시하여 연휴로 인해 운영에 차질이 생기지 않도록 관리할 계획이다

추석 연휴 중에는 환경오염사고 대비 상황실을 설치하여 산업단지와 주변 하천 등 오염우려 지역에 대한 순찰을 강화하고 추석 연휴가 끝난 9월19일부터 9월24일까지는 환경관리 취약업체에 대해 환경SOS 상담반을 통해 사업장의 효율적인 환경관리 도모 및 환경오염을 사전에 예방할 수 있도록 도울 예정이다.
