[브레이크뉴스경기남부=용인 이현준기자] 이상일 용인특례시장은 ‘용인학’ 강좌를 우수한 성적으로 수료한 8명의 학생에게 상장을 전달했다.
2일 시장실에서 진행됐으며 올해 1학기 지역 내 대학 교양 과목에서 상을 받은 학생은 서동훈(강남대), 김지연(단국대), 강보경(루터대), 김유림(명지대), 김하윤(용인대), 김요한(칼빈대), 이유정(용인예술과학대), 한수진(한국외대) 등이다.
시는 2010년부터 시의 브랜드 가치를 높이고 학생들의 지역 이해도를 증진하기 위해 관내 대학에 ‘용인학’ 교양 강좌를 개설해 매년 운영해 오고 있다.
용인에선 강남대, 단국대, 루터대, 명지대, 용인대, 용인예술과학대, 한국외대, 칼빈대등8개 대학에서 용인학 강좌를 운영하며, 강좌엔 매년 600명이 넘는 학생들이 참여한다.
지난 학기 수강생들은 15주 동안 매주 2시간씩 용인의 역사, 문화, 산업, 콘텐츠 등 다양한 주제의 이론을 탐구하고지역 명소를 직접 탐방하는 체험활동을 했다.
