윤석열 대통령이 6일 김용현 국방장관·안창호 국가인권위원장 임명안을 재가했다고 대통령실이 이날 전했다.
윤 대통령은 이날 오전 용산 대통령실에서 김 장관·안 위원장·장호진 대통령 외교안보특별보좌관에게 각각 임명장을 수여했다.
앞서 국회는 지난 2, 3일 김 장관·안 위원장에 대한 인사청문회를 각각 진행했으나 인사청문경과보고서 채택이 불발됐다.
전날 윤 대통령은 국회에 김 장관·안 위원장에 대한 청문보고서를 보내달라고 요청했으나 국회는 송부하지 않았다.
대통령은 국회에서 기한 내 청문보고서 채택이 불발될 시 10일 이내로 기간을 정해 청문보고서 재송부를 요청할 수 있고, 국회가 요청에 응하지 않으면 다음 날부터 청문보고서 없이 임명할 수 있다.
