[브레이크뉴스경기남부=오산 이현준기자] 오산 세마쌀만을 사용해 전통주를 제조하는 오산양조가 ‘2024 경기주류대상’에서 은상을 수상했다.
이번 행사는 경기도농수산진흥원이 경기지역 전통주에 대한 인지도를 높이고 좋은 술 원료인 경기미 소비를 활성화하기 위해 마련한 행사로 고양 킨텍스에서 8월 31일부터 9월 1일까지 개최됐다.
탁주, 약·청주, 증류주 부문에서 각각 대상, 금상, 은상을 수여하는 방식으로 진행되었으며 오산양조는 증류주 부문에서 은상을 수상하여 오산 세마쌀의 우수성을 홍보하는 데 기여했다.
오산양조는 오산 세마쌀만을 사용해 전통주를 제조하는 기업으로, 어려운 이웃을 위해 세마쌀을 기탁하는 등 평소 오산 세마쌀 활성화를 위해 노력했다.
유병진 농축산정책과장은 “이번 행사를 통해 오산시 전통주 및 오산 세마쌀의 가치를 인정받아 기쁘고, 이번 기회로 전국에서 사랑받는 술이 되기를 바란다”고 전했다.
아울러 오산양조는 이달 7일까지 오산시청 광장에서 개최되는 2024년 추석맞이 농특산물 직거래장터에서 시음 행사 및 판매를 진행할 예정이다.
