[브레이크뉴스경기남부=수원 이현준기자] 경기도교육청은 직속기관 균형 배치로 교직원의 연수 여건을 개선하고 학생 교육을 강화할 계획이다.
2025년 상반기 경기도교육청율곡연수원을 이전하고, 동시에 경기도교육청교육연수원과 경기도교육청인성교육원의 명칭과 기능을 변경한다. 경기도교육청학생교육원 이전은 단계적으로 추진할 예정이다.
그동안 교원과 지방공무원 직종에 따라 연수기관을 분리 운영해 거주 지역과 상관없이 교원은 경기도교육청교육연수원(이천)에서, 지방공무원은 경기도교육청율곡연수원(파주)에서 연수가 진행됐다.
이에 직속기관 이전·재배치로 직종 구분 없이 연수프로그램을 통합 운영해 교직원의 연수 여건을 개선하고자 한다.
교직원의 합숙 연수기관도 균형 배치한다.
남부권역 교직원의 합숙 연수를 경기도교육청교육연수원(이천)에서 실시하는 것과 균형을 맞춘다. 경기도교육청인성교육원(포천)의 명칭과 기능을 변경해 북부권역 교직원의 합숙 연수를 실시한다.
이와 함께 교직원 대상 비합숙 연수를 강화한다.
경기도교육청율곡연수원(파주)을 구)미래교육연수원(안양)으로 이전하고 비합숙 전문 연수기관으로 재편한다. 경기 남.북부 중간에 위치한 지리적 이점과 많은 연수생을 수용할 수 있는 시설 여건을 활용해 다양한 연수를 운영할 수 있게 된다.
