10일 시에 따르면 이는 시가 ‘이상동기 범죄 등 강력범죄 피해자 의료비 지원 조례’를 제정한 이후 이뤄진 첫 지원 사례다.
시는 지난 5월 가족 간 상해 피해를 입은 한 60대 여성에게 상해 치료비 200여만원을 지난달에 지급했다.
현재 법무부는 범죄피해자 지원 제도를 검찰청과 범죄피해자지원센터에서 분담하여 운영하고 있지만, 가족 간 발생한 범죄나 범죄의 간접적인 피해 치료비는 지원대상에서 제외하고 있다.
