윤석열 대통령이 10일 "내일부터 25일까지 2주를 '추석 연휴 비상 응급 주간'으로 운영하고, 당직의료기관을 지정해 연휴 의료 이용에 차질없도록 하겠다"고 밝혔다.
윤 대통령은 이날 오전 용산 대통령실에서 열린 제39회 국무회의를 주재하며 모두 발언에서 "응급의료체계가 차질없이 가동돼 국민께서 걱정 않으시도록 총력을 다하고 있다"며 이같이 말했다.
그러면서 "이번 추석 연휴엔 지난 설·예년에 비해 훨씬 많은 병·의원이 당직의료기관으로 신청했다"며 "의료기관 관계자·간호사께 감사드리며 더 많은 의료기관이 참여해 주시길 부탁드린다"고 주문했다.
