화성시의회, ‘공자 탄강(誕降) 2575년 추기 석전대제’ 참석

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=화성 이현준기자] 화성시의회는 ‘공자 탄강(誕降)2575년 추기 석전대제’에 참석했다.

정흥범 부의장은 10일 남양 향교에서 열린 행사에서 화성시문화유산과, 남양노인회장, 융건릉 봉향회장, 남양 향교 유림 등 내·외빈이 60여 명이 함께했다.

정흥범 부의장은 이날 축사에서“오늘 추기 석전대제를 맞아 옛 성인들을 추모하는 자리에 함께하게 되어 감사하다”라고 하며, “화성시에는 효를 상징하는 대표적인 유적지인 융건릉이 충효의 고장임을 보여준다. 남양 향교에도 후손들이 충, 효, 예 가르침을 받을 수 있는 교육관이 설립될 수 있도록 노력하겠다.”

이번 추기 석전대제는 국민의례, 전교(이백영) 인사, 석전대제 봉향 순으로 진행됐다.

한편, 추기 석전대제는 음력 8월 정일(丁日)에 공자를 비롯한 훌륭한 성인을 모신 대성전에서 드리는 유교적 제례 의식으로 1986년에 국가 무형유산으로 지정되었다. 남양향교에는 공자, 맹자를 비롯한 25인의 성현을 모시고 있다.
