[브레이크뉴스경기남부=수원 이현준기자] 경기도경제과학진흥원은 ‘2024 바이오커넥트;이음(Bio Connect)’을 개최한다.
오는 11일부터 12일까지 광교테크노밸리에서 올해 처음 열리는 ‘바이오커넥트;이음’은 경기도 내 산·학·연·병·관 혁신주체들의 역량을 연결하고 확장해, 바이오산업의 정책·기술 교류와 협력을 활성화하기 위해 마련된 전문 네트워킹 행사다.
행사는 첫날 ‘바이오-포럼 데이’, 둘째 날 ‘바이오-비즈 데이’로 나뉘어 진행된다. 기술 공급자와 수요자, 연구자와 투자자 간의 만남을 통해 다양한 협력과 시너지를 이끌어낼 전망이다.
첫째 날인 11일에는 정책포럼과 기술포럼으로 구성된 광교 바이오헬스 포럼이 개최된다. 경기도 바이오 광역클러스터 전략과 AI 기반의 미래 바이오 혁신 기술, 특히 디지털헬스와 신약개발 분야에서의 AI 융합에 대한 심도 있는 논의가 이뤄질 예정이다. 그리고 경기 의료기기 협의체 발족식이 진행된다.

6개 분야 전문 임상시험수탁기관(CRO)가 참여하는 무료 R&D 전략 컨설팅에서는 도내 바이오기업의 임상 및 인허가 과정 난관 해소를 위한 맞춤형 솔루션을 제공한다.
이외에도 전문 연구사업자 신고·지원 제도 안내와 최신 분석기술 세미나가 진행돼 기업들의 역량 강화를 돕는다.
강성천 경과원장은 “이번 행사는 경기도 바이오산업 혁신의 중요한 출발점이 될 것”이라며 “산·학·연·병·관의 긴밀한 협력을 통해 경기도가 글로벌 바이오 허브로 도약하는 발판을 마련하겠다”고 말했다.
