[브레이크뉴스경기남부=시흥 이현준기자] 시흥시가 한국폴리텍대학 인천캠퍼스와 업무 협약을 체결했다.
지난 9일 ‘K-시흥 구직자 취업 연계형, 일ㆍ학습병행 지원사업’에 대한 업무 협약은 지역 내 구직자들에게 실무경험과 직무능력을 강화할 기회를 제공하고, 인재 양성과 일자리 창출을 목표로 한다.
사업은 고용노동부 2024년 시범사업으로, 구직자를 대상으로 하는 일ㆍ학습병행 프로그램이다.
협약의 주요 내용은 ‘선(先) 교육 후(後) 취업’ 방식으로, 기업이 요구하는 직무역량을 교육하는 맞춤형 프로그램을 제공하는 것이다. 시는 관내 기업과 구직자를 우선 참여 대상으로 삼고 있다.
이번 사업은 오는 10월부터 시작되며, 총 140시간 동안 1일 7시간씩 20명을 대상으로 반도체 실무 교육과정을 진행할 계획으로 현재 대상자를 모집 중이다.
교육 내용은 반도체 제조공정 실무교육 외에도 직장에서의 의사소통, 대인관계 능력도 포함되어 있어 현장 근무 시 어려움이 없도록 진행할 예정이다. 한편, 교육 특전으로 교육생에게는 식비 지원과 교육 이수 시 수당 30만 원이 지급된다.
한국폴리텍대학 인천캠퍼스 관계자는 “구직자들에게 실질적인 도움을 줄 수 있는 프로그램을 운영하게 돼 매우 기쁘다”라며 “시흥시와의 협력을 통해 성공적인 프로그램을 운영하겠다”라고 전했다.
