안성시 “세계속의 안성시 전통시장” 행사 종료

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=안성 이현준기자] 안성시가 “세계속의 안성시 전통시장” 행사를 종료했다.

안성세계소프트 선수권 대회에 맞춰 9월 4일부터 9일까지 안성중앙시장, 안성맞춤시장에서 사전에 관광투어를 신청한 선수 및 시티투어 관광객 등을 대상으로 전통문화를 포함한 각종 체험활동, 플리마켓, 맥주축제, 각종 포토존 등 다양한 행사와 프로그램이 진행됐다.

이번 행사는 제17회 안성 세계소프트 선수권대회가 추진되면서 외국인 선수를 포함한 관광객들을 대상으로 한국 고유의 전통문화를 알리고 전통시장을 홍보하기 위하여 각 시장별로 특색있는 프로그램이 마련됐다.

시 관계자는 “사전에 신청받은 선수와 관광객 500명 등 1,000여명의 관광객들이 시장을 방문하여 다양한 행사를 즐겼으며, 향후 관내 체육 및 관광행사와 연계하여 전통시장을 활성화 시키겠다”고 전했다.
