[브레이크뉴스경기남부=광명 이현준기자] 광명시가 민생경제회복위원회를 운영한다.
시는 서민경제 회복과 활성화를 위해 민간 전문가 7명을 위원으로 위촉해 제3기 민생경제회복위원회를 구성, 운영한다고 12일 밝혔다.
위원회는 소상공인 및 자영업자 지원, 골목상권 활성화, 물가안정 대책 및 취약계층 서민경제 지원, 일자리 창출 및 교육 방안, 전통시장 활성화 등 민생경제와 직결된 현안에 대해 정책 방향을 논의하고 신규 정책 등을 제안하는 역할을 맡는다.
이번 위원회는 물가안정·소상공인 지원 등 수요자 관점의 민생 안정 정책을 발굴하는 데에 중점을 두고 활동할 계획이다.
광명시가 민생경제회복위원회를 운영하는 것은 2022년 이후 세 번째로, 지난해 2기 위원회에서는 13개 신규사업을 제안한 바 있다.
시는 위원회의 제안을 검토해 ▲구인·구직단 발굴단 운영 ▲혁신 스타트업 육성 엑셀러레이팅 ▲골목형 상점가 육성 ▲공공배달앱 아동급식지원 플랫폼 배달료 지원 등 소상공인 지원, 취업역량 강화, 지역경제 활성화,취약계층 지원 등을 위한 9개 사업을 추진해 왔다.
그외 ▲광명시 창업투자펀드 조성·운영 ▲광명사랑화폐 활성화 지원 등 4개 사업은 체계적 운영을 위해 중장기적 검토 및 조례 제·개정을 추진 중이다.
박승원 광명시장은 “높은 금리와 대외경제 불확실성이 지속되면서 시민이 느끼는 장바구니 물가가 여전히 높다”며 “민생경제 안정을 최우선으로 시민 체감도가 높은 정책을 수립하고 지역경제 회복을 위한 대안을 마련해 적극 추진하겠다”고 전했다.
