브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= 한국타이어앤테크놀로지㈜는 지난 10일과 11일 대전광역시 대덕구 목상동에 위치한 대전공장과 충청남도 금산군 제원면 소재의 금산공장에서 임직원들이 추석선물세트를 포장해 전달하는 ‘情 담은 꾸러미 나눔’ 봉사활동을 각각 진행했다고 12일 밝혔다.
한국타이어 임직원들은 대전 및 충남 지역의 로컬푸드 위주로 구성한 나눔 꾸러미를 포장하고, 각 공장이 위치한 지역의 행정복지센터에 전달했다. 전달된 꾸러미는 각 행정복지센터를 통해 독거노인 등 지역 내 취약계층 가정에 전달됐다.
서의돈 한국타이어 안전생산기술본부장은 “민족 대명절인 한가위를 앞두고 지역 이웃분들 모두 즐겁고 풍성한 시간이 되길 바라는 마음에 봉사활동을 진행하게 됐다”며 “앞으로도 지역사회의 복지 향상에 기여할 수 있는 다양한 활동을 펼쳐 나갈 것이다”고 말했다.
한편, 한국타이어는 지역 상생 실천 강화를 위해 2011년 ‘한국타이어 봉사단’을 전사적으로 출범했다. ‘사회복지시설 일손 돕기’, ‘자연재해 피해지역 복구’, ‘벽화 그리기’, ‘소외계층 주거환경 개선을 위한 도배 및 장판 LED 전등 교체’ 등 다양한 참여형 사회공헌 프로그램을 진행하고 있다. 임직원들의 자발적 참여를 장려하며 기업의 사회적 책임 이행에 앞장서고 진정성 있는 나눔과 상생의 가치를 실현하고 있다.
