[브레이크뉴스경기남부=수원 이현준기자] 경기주택도시공사는 양주 테크노밸리 앵커기업 유치 및 벤처 스타트업 유입 활성화를 위한 양해각서를 체결했다.
양주테크노밸리는 양주시 남방동 및 마전동 일원 21만 8000m²에 조성되는 경기북부 최대 규모의 도시첨단산업단지로 1104억 원이 투입돼, 2026년 완공을목표로 추진되고 있다.섬유 등 양주지역 특화산업에 정보통신(IT) 기술을 융합하고 디스플레이, 모빌리티 등 첨단 신산업 유치를 통해 경기 북부지역의 성장을 이끌어갈 ‘북부판 판교’로 육성한다는 계획이다.
12일 서울 구로구 벤처기업협회에서 김성중 경기도 행정1부지사, 강수현 양주시장, 오완석 GH균형발전본부 본부장,성상협 벤처기업협회 회장, 정성호 국회의원 등이 참석했다.
협약기관들은 △앵커기업과 벤처기업 유치를 위한 상호 협력 △벤처 스타트업 유입 활성화를 위한 환경 조성과 전략 수립 △경기도 양주 벤처 생태계 활성화를위한 행정적 지원 강화 △주거 산업 문화 교육이 어우러지는 복합 인프라 조성 등을 추진해 나가기로 했다.
GH 김세용 사장은 “양주테크노밸리를 기업 대학 인재가 모여 직주락학(職住樂學)이 실현되는 도시첨단산업단지로 조성하겠다”고 전했다.
