[브레이크뉴스경기남부=용인 이현준기자] 용인특례시는 ‘도자기 수선 다숨’이 환경부의 우수 환경 교육프로그램으로 지정됐다.
수지구 죽전동 수지환경교육센터가 운영하는 ‘도자기 수선 다숨’은 깨지거나 금이 간 생활 도자기를 수선해 다시 사용할 수 있도록 돕는 수지환경교육센터의 성인 대상의 환경 교육 프로그램이다.
총 5회로 구성된 이 프로그램은 도자기 수선 과정을 통해 지속 가능한 자원순환과 탄소중립의 연관성을 배우고 용인의 도자기 역사를 이해하도록 프로그램을 구성한 것이 특징이다.
시에선 이번에 새로 지정된 ‘도자기 수선 다숨’을 포함해 총 11개의 프로그램이 환경부의 ‘우수 환경 교육 프로그램’으로 13일 지정됐다.
환경부는 국민에게 수준 높은 환경 교육 프로그램을 제공할 수 있도록 지난 2010년부터 각 기관에서 운영하는 환경 교육 프로그램의 친환경성, 우수성, 안전성 등을 심사해 ‘우수 환경 교육 프로그램’으로 지정해 오고 있다.
시 관계자는 “용인특례시가 환경교육도시로서의 역할을 다할 수 있도록 앞으로도 시민들에게 수준 높은 환경 교육 프로그램을 제공하기 위해 더욱 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
