[브레이크뉴스경기남부=용인 이현준기자] 용인특례시가 8월 한달간 카카오 알림톡을 이용해 세외수입 체납 고지와 간편납부 서비스를 시범 운영한 결과 전월 대비 징수 건수가 161% 증가했다고 전했다.
시는 기존에 우편으로 발송하던 세금 고지의 불편함과 은행 방문 등 번거로운 세금 납부 절차를 개선하기 위해 카카오 알림톡 서비스를 도입했다.
시에서 카카오 알림톡으로 발송한 모바일 고지서를 수신한 납세자는 본인 인증을 거쳐 세부 내용을 확인한 후 카카오페이 등 간편 결제를 이용해 즉시 세금을 납부할 수 있게 됐다.
시는 이번 시범 운영에 세외수입 미납자 4800명에게 카카오 알림톡을 발송했다. 카카오톡 미사용자를 제외한 알림톡 수신자 3600명 중 36%인 1308명이 상세 내역을 당일 열람했다.
총 열람자 1579명 중 471명(30%)이 체납액을 납부했으며 납부자 중 40%인 188명이 카카오페이로 납부해 간편 결제 서비스의 실효성을 확인했다.
8월 한달간 서비스 시범 운영 결과 징수 건수는 체납안내문을 우편으로 발송한 전월(293명) 대비 161% 증가했다.
