[브레이크뉴스경기남부=화성 이현준기자] 화성시는 ‘2025년 축산악취개선사업’ 공모에 선정되어 총 사업비 9억3천만원(국비 1억 9천만원)을 확보했다.
축산악취개선사업은 가축분뇨의 신속한 처리 및 악취관리를 위해 시설 및 장비를 지원하는 사업으로 화성시는 2021년부터 추진해오고 있다.
이번 공모에는 농림축산식품부에서 주관하여, 전국 57개 시군이 신청했으며 서류ㆍ발표 평가와, 농림축산식품부의 서류평가(1차) 및 발표평가(2차)를 거쳐 최종 30개 시ㆍ군이 우선 사업대상자로 선정됐다.
화성시는 축산악취개선사업을 통해 양돈농가가 많이 들어서면서 악취를 호소하는 지역 민원을 해결할 계획이다.
총 사업비 9억3천만원을 투입하여 액비순환시설 등 축산농가의 분뇨처리방식을 개선하고, 악취개선시설을 설치하여 축산악취를 저감 해 나갈 계획이다.
강진우 축산정책과장은 “날로 증가하는 축산분뇨와 악취민원을 해결하기 위해 가축분뇨처리 및 악취저감 시설과 장비, 악취저감제 등을 지속적으로 지원하겠다”며, “지역주민의 불편을 해소하고 악취 없는 깨끗한 축산환경을 만들어 나갈 수 있도록 적극 노력할 계획”이라고 말했다.
