박승원 광명시장은 인사말을 통해 “시민홍보기자단은 광명시와 광명시민의 교두보다”라며 “시민들의 삶에 도움이 되는 정책을 홍보해 많은 시민에게 수혜가 돌아갈 수 있도록 하고 전국적으로 광명시의 매력을 알려달라”고 말했다.
이번 신규 위촉으로 기존 27명이던 광명시 시민홍보기자단은 37명으로 확대돼 앞으로 시의 주요 정책, 행사, 관광명소, 생활정보 등을 현장 취재해 시민의 눈으로 더 친근하게 전달할 예정이다.
