발안~남양 고속화도로 민간투자사업 협약 체결

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=화성 이현준기자] 화성시는 ‘발안~남양 고속화도로 민간투자사업 실시협약’을 체결했다.

23일 ‘발안남양도로주식회사’를 사업시행자로 최종 지정하고 주간사인 HL디앤아이한라(주)와 협약을 맺었다.

해당 노선은 향남지구에서 남양뉴타운까지 왕복 4차선 자동차 전용도로 15.36km 구간을 건설하는 사업으로, 민간자본 3,817억 원을 포함한 사업비4,463억 원을 투입해 2026년 착공해 2029년 개통을 목표로 추진된다.

본 노선 개통 시 향남~남양~안산 구간 통행 시간이 현재 40분에서 20여 분으로 획기적으로 단축될 전망으로, 수도권 서남부 지역 장거리 교통량을 분산해 교통 혼잡 완화에도 도움이 될 것으로 기대된다.
