[브레이크뉴스경기남부=화성 이현준기자] 화성시는 외국인 투자기업과의 간담회를 개최했다.
24일 동탄인큐베이팅센터에서 관내 외투 기업과의 상호 협력을 위한 네트워크 구축에 나섰다.
화성시에는 2024년 6월 기준 425개의 외국인 투자기업이 있으며 주요투자국으로는 중국·일본·미국·네덜란드 등이 있다.
이날 간담회에는 정명근 화성시장을 비롯해 KOTRA 김주형 수석전문위원 및 관내 외국인 투자기업인 ASM코리아, ASML코리아, 도쿄일렉트론코리아, 오토리브 등의 기업 관계자가 참석했다.
간담회에서는 주로 △국내?외 최신 투자 동향 공유 △추가 투자 의향 △외투기업 지원제도 안내 △외투 기업 애로사항 청취 등이 이뤄졌다.
시는 그간 국내 기업들과는 기업인 간담회를 통해 정기적 소통의 장을 마련해 왔으며, 이번에는 최초로 외국인 투자기업과의 소통을 위해 간담회를 개최했다.
정명근 화성시장은 “이번 간담회를 통해 국내기업뿐만 아니라 외국인 투자기업에 대한 애로사항 및 지원방안을 바탕으로 화성시가 글로벌 기업도시, 더 기업하기 좋은 도시로 거듭날 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
