[브레이크뉴스경기남부=용인 이현준기자] 용인특례시의 3개구 보건소가 우수한 치매 관리 프로그램으로 지역사회 공헌한 공로를 인정받아 표창을 받았다.
처인구보건소는 치매 우수 프로그램 운영 기관에 선정돼 보건복지부 장관, 기흥구와 수지구보건소는 각각 공공후견인과 치매관리 사업 부문 경기도지사 표창을 수상했다.
처인구보건소는 24일 경기도가 경기도인재개발원 다산홀에서 개최한 ‘제17회 치매극복의날 기념식’에서 치매 우수 프로그램 운영 기관에 선정돼 보건복지부 장관 표창을 받았다.
처인구보건소가 운영하는 치매안심센터는 지난 2018년 9월 개소 이후 면적이 넓고, 인구가 넓게 분포된 지역의 특성을 고려한 사업과 인공지능을 활용한 치매환자 돌봄 프로그램이 높은 평가를 받았다.
처인구보건소는 ▲찾아가는 치매 조기 검진 및 치매 환자 등록·지원 서비스 사업 ▲지역특화 한의약 치매 예방 사업 ▲지역 주민과 함께하는 치매안심마을 운영 사업을 통해 치매에 대한 올바른 정보를 전달하고, 치매 조기 발견과 예방을 위해 지역사회가 함께 참여할 수 있는 환경을 조성했다.
