[브레이크뉴스경기남부=용인 이현준기자] 용인특례시는 경기도가 실시한 ‘2024년 상반기 체납액 특별징수대책 시·군 평가’에서 최우수 기관으로 선정됐다고 25일 밝혔다.
시는 체납액 징수율, 가상자산 체납처분, 가택수색, 대포차 정리, 부동산 공매, 신탁재산 체납처분 등 총 6개 항목에서 고루 높은 점수를 기록했다.
특히 ▲‘체납액 징수대책 보고회’, 시·구 합동 징수 계획 수립·실행 등 ▲가상자산 체납처분 ▲채권압류(리스 보증금 등) ▲가택수색 ▲동산 압류 ▲대포차 운행정지 명령·강제 견인 등 다양한 현장 징수 활동을 펼쳐 연초 1040억원의 지방세 체납액 중 25%인 261억원을 징수한 점에서 높은 점수를 받았다.
이상일 시장은 “공정하고 정의로운 조세 행정을 위해 체계적으로 체납 징수 활동을 펼친 결과 좋은 성과를 이뤘다”며 “앞으로도 고액 체납자를 끝까지 추적하고 생계형 체납자는 회생의 기회를 주는 등 신뢰받는 행정 서비스를 제공하도록 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
경기도는 각 지방자치단체의 체납 징수 활동을 독려하고 지방재정수입 확충을 위해 31개 시군을 지방세 체납액 규모에 따라 3개 그룹으로 나눠 올 상반기 특별징수 활동 실적을 평가했다.
