수원시 정책청년참여단 발대식

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=수원 이현준기자] 수원시는 ‘제3기 수원시 정책청년참여단’이 첫발을 뗐다.

24일 경기대 종합강의동에서 열린 제3기 수원시 정책청년참여단 발대식에는 정책청년참여단 19명과 경기대 행정학과 박현욱 교수, 수원시 관계자 등이 참석했다.

수원시는 경기대 행정학과와 협력해 올해 2학기에 새빛톡톡을 활용해 수원시를 위한 맞춤형 정책을 개발하는 프로젝트 수업 ‘정책혁신세미나’를 개설했다. 제3기 수원시 정책청년참여단은 정책혁신세미나를 수강하는 행정학과·공공인재학부 행정학전공 학생들이다.

수업은 수원시 정책제안·제안발표 등 팀 과제 수행, 수원시 팀장 멘토와 함께하는 ‘대학생 행정실무 인턴십’ 등으로 이뤄진다.

수원시는 아주대학교 행정학과와 협력해 2023학년도 2학기와 2024학년도 1학기에 1·2기 수원시 정책청년참여단을 구성한 바 있다. 1·2기 수원시 정책청년참여단은 총 13개의 맞춤 정책을 개발했고, 그중 1개 제안은 부서에서 채택해 실행을 앞두고 있다.

수원시 관계자는 “수원시 정책청년참여단을 경기대학교로 확대 운영하게 돼 기쁘다”며 “제3기 정책청년참여단의 정책제안이 시정에 반영돼 시민들에게 도움이 되길 바란다”고 말했다.
