지원대상은 20년 이상 노후주택 중 면적이 130㎡ 이하인 세대에 실제로 사용한개량사업비 금액의 최대 180만원 이내에서 예산소진시까지 지원하며, 지원기준은주택면적 60㎡ 이하 90%, 85㎡ 이하 80%, 130㎡ 이하 30%이며 기초생활수급자및 차상위 계층은 100% 지원한다.
신청방법은 개량지원신청서와 관련서류를 첨부해 광주시 맑은물사업소 수도과로제출하면 현장실사를 통해 지원 여부를 선정·통보한다.
시 관계자는 “녹슨 상수도관에서 녹물이 출수 돼 불편을 겪는 시민들의 적극적인신청을 바라며 노후주택의 상수도관 개량지원사업으로 안전하고 깨끗한 수돗물이 각 가정까지 공급돼 수돗물을 안심하고 마실 수 있도록 최선의 노력을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
