광명시, 광명역세권지구 보도육교 신설

25일 시는 빛가온초·중학교와 광명역파크자이아파트~일직수변공원을 잇는 통학로에 보도육교를 신설해 청소년들이 더 안전하고 빠르게 통학할 수 있게 됐다.

신설 보도육교는 광명역세권지구 아파트 단지들과 빛가온초·중학교를 잇는 위치로, 4m, 길이 58.5m에 경사로.계단 3개소, 승강기 2개소를 갖췄다.

육교가 신설되기 전 인근 청소년들은 통학을 위해 왕복 6차선 도로의 횡단보도를 이용해 왔다. 이번 육교 신설로 빛가온초·중학교 학생들이 더 안전하고 빠르게 통학할 수 있을 것으로 전망된다.

또 시는 시공에 앞서 사업시행자 LH와 광명역파크자이 입주민과 함께 현장을 답사하며 주민들의 의견을 적극 반영해 효용성뿐만 아니라 경관도 뛰어난 보도육교를 만들었다. 특히 야간에는 4가지 패턴으로 밤하늘을 형상화한 경관조명이 설치돼 아름다움을 더했다.
