[브레이크뉴스경기남부=성남 이현준기자] 성남시는 ‘2024 대한민국 자치발전 대상 시상식’에서 기초자치 부문 대상을 수상했다.
한국자치발전연구원 주최로 25일 서울 용산구 백범김구기념관 컨벤션홀에서 열렸다.
대한민국 자치발전 대상은 국정, 광역, 기초, 공직자, 민간 부문에서 지방자치 발전에 이바지한 단체와 대표자에 주는 상이다.
기초자치 부문은 지방자치단체와 해당 단체장 업적을 동시에 평가해 수상 기관을 선정했다.
성남시는 ▲‘첨단과 혁신의 희망도시 성남’ 추진 ▲지방자치 발전 분야 ▲교육자치 정책 분야 ▲지역사회 복지정책 분야 등 시정 전 분야에 걸쳐 그 공로와 노력을 인정 받았다.
이중 첨단과 혁신의 희망도시 성남 추진 내용은 반도체 메가 클러스터 조성, 첨단 모빌리티 특화도시 조성, 시민이 체감하는 스마트 도시 조성과 실시간 유동 인구 모니터링 시스템 운영 등이다.
지방자치 발전 분야에선 미래지향적 맞춤형 연구기관인 성남시정연구원 설립 운영, 성남시 승격 50주년 기념행사 추진, 현장 소통 강화를 위한 문자 소통 서비스 운영, 민생 현장 방문 등을 추진 중이다.
신상진 성남시장은 “대한민국 자치발전 대상 기초자치 부문 수상은 성남의 발전을 위해 시민들과 함께 모든 공직자가 노력해 온 결과”라면서 “앞으로도 민선 8기 성남시정의 비전을 이뤄 나갈 수 있도록 최선의 노력을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
이날 시상식에는 신상진 시장을 대신해 이진찬 부시장이 참석해 상을 받았다.
