[브레이크뉴스경기남부=수원 이현준기자] 수원시는 ‘경기도 데이터 정책 우수사례 발표대회’에서 장려상을 받았다.
발표대회는 25일 서울 강남구 보코서울 세미나룸에서 열렸다.
‘AI 카메라로 수원의 안전을 지키다’는 112 신고, 다중밀집지역에 대한 분석결과를 바탕으로 안전관리 예방 지역 방문객을 분석한 후 위험을 알릴 수 있는 지능형 AI 카메라를 설치·관제하는 것이다.
수원시 전역의112 신고요인, ICT(정보통신기술) 요인, 환경 요인, 인구 요인 간 상관관계를 분석하고, 유동인구 데이터를 활용해 혼잡도 높은 다중밀집 관리지역과 AI카메라 우선 설치지역을 도출한다. 도출한 지역에 AI 방문객 통계·분석 기능이 내장된 지능형 AI 카메라를 설치해 안전사고를 방지한다.
수원시는 2021년 10월부터 2023년 6월까지 5차례에 걸쳐 데이터를 분석해 설치대상지를 도출한 후 수원역 로데오거리, 인계동 박스, 행궁동 화성행궁거리 등 3개소에 AI카메라 26대를 설치하며 시스템을 구축했다. 수원역사 내부와 화서역 지하보도에도 AI 카메라를 설치할 계획이다.
재난상황실에 AI 카메라 영상을 모니터링할 수 있는 관제PC를 설치해 수집 정보와 방문객 통행량 분석자료를 공유한다. 임계치 이상의 인파가 밀집하면 AI 통계 서버에서 재난상황실로 자동으로 알림을 보내고, 신속하게 초동 대응을 한다.
수원시 관계자는 “데이터 기반 행정서비스로 시민들에게 더 안전한 생활환경을 제공하겠다”며 “다양한 시정 현안에 대한 데이터를 분석하고, 분석결과를 정책에 활용해 시민이 체감할 수 있는 행정서비스를 제공하겠다”고 말했다.
