[브레이크뉴스경기남부=성남 이현준기자] 성남시는 오는 27일 ‘제35회 경기도생활체육대축전 2024 성남’ 대회 개회식을 성남종합운동장에서 연다.
개회식에는 신상진 성남시장을 비롯해 김성중 경기도 행정1부지사, 김진경 경기도의회 의장, 이덕수 성남시의회 의장, 이원성 경기도체육회장, 이용기 성남시체육회장을 비롯한 시·군 단체장, 국회의원, 도의원, 시의원, 경기종목 단체장 등 체육관계자와 도민 등이 참석한다.
개회식 공식행사는 개식통고, 선수단 입장, 개회 선언, 환영사, 대회사, 축사, 선수대표 선서 및 주제공연 순서로 이어진다.
식후에는 가수 장민호의 축하공연, 첨단 키네틱 멀티미디어쇼, 레이저쇼가 펼쳐져 분위기를 고조시킨다.
신상진 성남시장은 “지난해 경기도체육대회에 이어 제35회 경기도생활체육대축전이 4차 산업혁명의 메카인 첨단과 혁신의 희망도시 성남에서 개최하게 돼 영광”이라면서 “생활체육인들의 대회가 성남에서 개최되는 만큼 2만여명의 생활체육인들과 1,400만 경기도민이 화합하고 함께 즐기는 축제의 장이 되기를 바란다”고 말했다.
이번 대회는 ‘더 나은 경기, 성남에서 희망을!’이라는 슬로건 아래 도내 31개 시군 2만701명(선수 1만7,443명, 임원 3,258명)의 선수단이 함께하는 대규모 대회다.
선수들은 육상 축구 테니스 등 21개의 종목과 수영, 씨름, 그라운드골프, 당구, 자전거 5개 시범종목을 합해 총 26개 종목에서 기량을 겨루게 된다.
시 관계자는 대회에 참가하는 생활체육인들이 안전하고 즐겁게 대회를 즐길 수 있도록 경기장 시설 안전과 응급의료, 교통·수송, 자원봉사 운영 등에 차질이 없도록 최선을 다하고 있다고 전했다.
