안산시, 맞춤형 인구정책 중간 보고회

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=안산 이현준기자] 안산시는 ‘안산시 인구정책 기본계획 수립 용역’ 중간 보고회를 개최했다.

지난 25일 안산시청 제1회의실에서 전문가로 구성된 인구정책위원회와 공무원으로 구성된 인구정책실무추진단 등35명이 참석한 가운데 안산시 맞춤형 인구정책 방향이 논의됐다.

이날 용역 수행사인 (사)한국응용통계연구원은 시 인구 현황과 정책 여건 등에 대한 보고를 진행했다. 이어▲국내·외 사례분석 ▲안산시민 인구 인식 및 정책 욕구 분석 ▲안산시 전문가 의견수렴등을 토대로 안산시의 SWOT(강점, 약점, 기회, 위협) 분석 및 인구정책의 방향 등 비전과 전략을 공유했다.

또한 ‘다채로운 안산, 오래도록 행복한 안산’이라는 비전 아래 ▲다양성·공존·행복 ▲혁신·기회·성공 ▲평안·쾌적·여유 ▲미래·창의·성장을 목표로 세부 추진 전략을 제시했다.

시는 인구정책위원회와 인구정책실무추진단 등의 의견을 충실히 반영해 오는 10월 용역 최종 보고회를 개최할 예정이며 이를 바탕으로 인구정책 기본계획 최종안을 확정할 계획이다.

이민근 안산시장은 “인구는 한 도시의 힘이자 경쟁력을 나타내는 지표로 시 위원회 가운데서도 가장 핵심이 되는 위원회가 인구정책 위원회”라며 “시민이 공감할 수 있는 목표와 정책들을 인구정책 기본계획에 충실히 담아내겠다”라고 말했다.
