[브레이크뉴스경기남부=김포 이현준기자] 김포시는 김포경찰서와 실무 간담회를 가졌다.
지난 25일 김포경찰서와 시민 안전을 위해 기관 간 협업 필요 사안에 대해 논의했다.
이번 간담회는 시민 안전 증진을 위해 재난 대응, 지역축제 안전관리, 교통안전 등 다방면에서 협업하고 있는 두 기관 간 긴밀한 소통과 협조를 위한 초석이 됐다.
간담회에서는 재난대응 안전한국훈련, 김포 거리예술 페스티벌, 김포한강마라톤, 노숙인 발생, 주차금지구역 지정·해제, 개인형 이동장치, 공중화장실 안심비상벨 설치 사업, 가로수 유지관리 및 그늘목 식재, 재난 통신망 운영 등 현안사항을 공유하고 다양한 의견을 주고받으며 더욱 안전한 김포시를 만들기 위해 머리를 맞댔다.
각 기관은 이번 간담회를 통해 지원이 필요한 부분에 대해서 적극적인 협조를 통해 업무 수행에 불편함이 없도록 노력할 것을 약속했다.
회의를 주재한 김규식 김포부시장은 “평소 시민 안전과 사회질서 유지를 위해 힘쓰는 경찰공무원의 노고에 깊은 감사를 드리며 김포시의 협조가 필요한 사항은 언제든지 건의해달라”며 “앞으로 경찰서와의 간담회를 정례화하여 시민 안전 증진이라는 공동 목표 달성을 위해 다양한 방안을 모색하여 시민 생명과 재산보호를 위해 최선을 다하겠다”고 전했다.
