[브레이크뉴스경기남부=안성 이현준기자] 안성시는 경기 한우경진대회에서 안성시 금광면 이병일 농가가 암송아지 부문에서 우수상을 수상했다.
경기도 한우경진대회는 도내에 사육 중인 한우의 개량 성과를 평가해 우수한 개체를 선발하는 것으로, 한우의 나이·개월령에 따라 5개 부문(암송아지, 미경산우, 경산우(번식암소1부·2부·3부))으로 나뉘어 최고의 한우를 선발해 최우수, 우수, 장려상이 수여된다.
안성시는 3개 부문에 총 3두를 출품해 이 중 암송아지 부문에서 이병일 농가가 우수상을 수상하는 영예를 안았다.
시 관계자는 “이번 수상은 고품질 한우 생산을 위한 다양한 개량 시책지원과 이를 현장에서 실천한 농가의 노력이 결실을 맺은 결과이며, 최근 럼피스킨 등 질병 발생, 이상 기온, 사료비 상승 등 전반적인 축산농가의 어려운 상황속 노력하신 축산 농가에 감사드리며 한우산업 발전에 최선을 다 하겠다”고 전했다.
한편 경기도 한우경진대회 시상은 9월 28일(토) 파주 임진각에서 진행되는 경기도 축산진흥대회에서 열릴 예정이다.
