화성시, 주민참여예산위원회 총회 개최

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=화성 이현준기자] 화성시는 2024년 주민참여예산위원회 총회를 개최했다.

지난 25일 유앤아이센터 세미나실에서 ‘시민의 꿈만큼 화성의 내일만큼’이라는 슬로건으로 진행된 이날 총회는 우수제안사례 토크콘서트, 2025년 주민참여예산사업 최종 선정 심의 등이 진행됐다.

2025년 주민참여예산 사업은 2023년 5월 1일부터 2024년 4월 1일까지 공모를 통해 접수한 주민제안사업과 읍면 지역사회 문제 해결을 위해 발굴한 주민숙원사업에 대해 사업부서의 타당성 검토 및 사업 구체화, 주민참여예산위원회 심의를 거쳐 이날 총회를 통해 최종 선정됐다.

이번에 선정된 2025년 주민참여예산사업은 주민제안사업 34건 30억원, 주민숙원사업 207건 84억원으로 총 241건 114억원 규모이다.

그중 커피박 자원순환사업 등이 우수사업으로 선정됐으며, 특히 올해는 마을안길 태양광 전등 설치 사업 등 안전사고 예방을 위한 생활밀착형 사업들이 다수 포함됐다.

정명근 화성시장은 “주민들의 참여로 시작된 제안이 주민들과 함께한 자리에서 선정의 결실을 맺게 됐다”며, “앞으로도 주민들의 다양한 의견을 시정에 반영하기 위해 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
