광주시, 제2기 한강사랑포럼 발대식 참석

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=광주 이현준기자] 김충범 광주시 부시장은 '제2기 한강사랑포럼' 발대식에 참석했다.

김 부시장은 이날 한강사랑포럼의 공동대표인 방세환 광주시장의 해외 출장으로 대리 참석했으며, 주임록 광주시의회의원을 비롯한 포럼회원 지자체의 국회의원, 시장·군수단, 지방의원 등 총 120여명 참석했다.

행사는 송석준 공동대표 주재로 진행되었으며, '제2기 한강사랑포럼' 의발대식 및 수도권 규제 해소방안에 대해 논의했다.

발대식은 △참석 회원 인사말씀 △수도권 규제 개선을 위한 상생 협력 결의△수도권 규제 합리화 발제 △패널 토론 순으로 26일 이천시청 대회의실에서 진행됐다.

김 부시장은 “수도권 동부지역 일원은 팔당호를 중심으로 한강 상수원 수질 보호를 위해 다양한 중첩 규제에 묶여 도시 발전 잠재력이 약화하고 있다”며 “한강사랑포럼을 통해 시대 변화에 맞지 않는 수도권 규제를 합리적으로 개선하는 유의미한 결실이 나오길 기원한다”라고 말했다.

한강사랑포럼은 이날 제2기 발대식을 시작으로 상생발전을 위한 지속적인 연대 활동을 이어나간다는 계획이다.

한편 '한강사랑포럼'은 자연보전권역으로 묶여 수십 년 동안 각종 중첩규제와 역차별로 희생을 강요받고 있는 한강유역 시·군(광주시, 용인특례시, 하남시, 의왕시,이천시, 여주시, 양평군, 가평군)의 지역구 국회의원, 지자체장, 지방의원 등이 참여하는 정책협의체이다. 한강유역의 균형 발전과 상호협력 및 한강 수질의 체계적 관리 등을 위한 정책개발과 연대를 통한 지역 발전을 도모하기 위해 2023년 2월 구성되었으며, 실질적인 제도 개선이 이루어질 수 있도록 다양한 입법·정책적 방안을 논의하고 있다.
