[브레이크뉴스경기남부=용인 이현준기자] 이상일 용인특례시장은 처인구 고림초등학교를 찾아 정문 시설 개선 현장을 살폈다.
황 교장은 “교장들과의 간담회 때 건의했던 문제를 이 시장님이 신속하게 해결해 주셔서 진심으로 감사하다. 아이들은 깔끔하게 확장된 정문으로 안전하게 등·하교를 하고, 훨씬 넓어진 정문 차도로 차량이 원활하게 드나들 수 있게 되어서 행복하다. 정문 쪽에서 차양막과 수목으로 가려져 잘 보이지 않았던 학교 건물도 잘 보이게 되어서 바깥에서 보는 학교 인상이 달라졌다”며 고마움을 전했다.

이 시장은 26일 학교 정문을 살펴본 뒤 운동회가 진행되는 운동장 주변을 돌며 학부모·학생들과 인사를 나눴다. 많은 학생이 이 시장을 둘러싸고 악수를 청하고, 사진 촬영을 요청했다.
